Meet the Artist

Hello! My name is Jordan Bertok, and I am a 25-year-old artist specializing in highly realistic pet portraits. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, I moved to Philadelphia in 2016 to attend the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University. I always knew I wanted to work with children, so majoring in Art Therapy was an easy decision. I was given the honor of Student Speaker in Spring 2020, and graduated at the height of the global pandemic.

I continued my education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and earned my Masters in Science, studying Applied Behavior Analysis. Since then, I have been working in preschools throughout Philadelphia as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

In my free time, I enjoy reading, taking my Husky to the dog park, rock climbing, and drawing with pastels! Creating art for others has always been an integral part of my life, and making pet portraits is the perfect opportunity to connect with others and express my love for animals in a creative way. You can check out all of my current pet portraits on the Portfolio section of this website, or on my official Instagram account. If you’re interested in receiving a pet portrait of your own, head on over to the Details page to read how to get started!
